Hello, I’m Marko — a solutions-oriented ICT professional with experience in systems management, development projects, support functions, and customer relationship enablement. My background combines business and technology, and I have worked in both specialist and responsible roles in different organisations.
Before moving into ICT, I worked in many kinds of jobs — receptionist, courier, customer service and sales, road construction worker, cabinetmaker (my first profession), warehouse worker, and entrepreneur. That range taught me practical thinking, adaptability and respect for good service.
Interests range from sports and photography to technology, and staying current matters to me. Hands-on work comes naturally — not just screen work. There’s also a long-term curiosity for older and retro hardware and culture. I like things neat, functional and well designed, and I work confidently with both digital systems and physical hardware.
I’m often told I’m easy to work with: I listen, I explain things clearly, and I’m approachable. More than once I’ve heard “you’re our next salesperson,” which I take as a compliment — I try to understand people, not just the problem, and I’m naturally focused on solutions.
In addition to my professional background, I work on small side projects in IT and media, including building an online store. I’ve been part of the demoscene since my youth, contributing by sharing, designing and creating different kinds of material. The demoscene has since been recognised as part of UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritage .
